A Trusted Name In Real Estate For Over 26 Years!
ERA Professional is a family owned company, and has been for over 26 years. We started out in 1986 as Puryear Realty, founded by Clyde Puryear, a Lake County native, and former citrus grove owner. Back then, it was just Clyde and wife Gwen (also a Lake County native), and the company specialized in land and residential development.
In 1995, Clyde’s son, Marvin Puryear, moved back from Chicago, IL, to take over the family owned real estate business. Our goal became to be, not the largest, but the best and most well trained real estate office in Lake County. In 1997, we moved our office from a small 1000 square foot office in Groveland, to a larger and more up-scale office in the heart of Clermont. Also, that year, we joined the internationally based ERA Franchise Systems, and changed the name to ERA Professional Real Estate Services Inc. We did this, because ERA brought international exposure in both marketing power and office locations (ERA has offices in 32 countries), that cannot be duplicated as a small independent company.
We have grown, proudly, as one of the dominant real estate firms in our area, with an extensive group of highly trained and experienced real estate professionals. In 2006, our commercial department moved from ERA and we opened a second sister company, Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic Properties, in order to better serve and market our commercial properties. Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) is the number one recognized name in commercial real estate, and provides world-wide marketing of properties throughout the largest commercial web sites and media available.
Today we have over 30 highly trained real estate professionals and staff, all dedicated to the client and a seamless, enjoyable transaction. Unlike many real estate companies where the agent does everything, we have full-time staff responsible for marketing, customer service, and closing coordination. As a prospective agent, discover how free company assistants and enhanced marketing of your properties can drastically impact your business, add time to play or be with your family, and improve your quality of life. For those of you looking to Buy or Sell property, why put one of the largest asset‘s you own in the hands of one agent when you can have a trained team dedicated to your satisfaction.
